Stroboscopic Visual Training for Coaching Practitioners: A Comprehensive Literature Review

Background: The importance of vision and its impact upon an athlete’s performance has long been recognized by elite athletic communities. In recent decades, stroboscopic training methods have developed to help train athletes from a visual, perceptual, cognitive perspective using strobe glasses. Objective: Herein comprehensive literature review was conducted investigate the effectiveness glasses in collegiate professional athletes. Methods: This investigates origins, attention influences, tasks, practitioner takeaways, cost feasibility visual training.Results: findings this show promise benefits utilizing during scenarios, particularly for improving fast or impulsive tasks. Strobe can be accommodated into varying sporting environments regimens while being affordable athletic, coaching, departments centers. Studies investigating direct influence on subsequent demonstrate viable strengthening fundamental abilities. Notably, these abilities shown correlate with improved game performance. Though early results are promising, there still significant areas further research more designs studies. Conclusion: highlights potential existing gaps concerning use eyewear as intervention method sports. delineation optimal applications is undetermined; however, information presented meaningfully applied coaching practitioners who considering adopting technology.
